By registering and using the friendslist Android or IOS app, you disclose data about yourself. We collect this data in part to ensure the functionality of the system. This document draws its basis from the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). It is intended to convey to you what data we collect, for what purposes and for what time, and what rights you have.

The following data from you is collected with each request to our servers and deleted after a few days, but flows anonymously into the formation of statistics:

will be stored by us until the account is deleted. We need the email address to contact you, e.g. if you forget your password. The password is only stored by us in encrypted form and is used together with your email address to log in. The date of birth is used by us to determine your age and for legal protection.
If you log in via Google SSO, we receive a token from Google that uniquely identifies your account. This, as well as the time of registration, will be stored by us until the account is deleted.
If you log in via Apple SSO, we receive a token from Apple that uniquely identifies your account. This, as well as the time of registration, will be stored by us until the account is deleted.
We collect the following data from you by using the app. The exact data that is collected depends on your usage activity.

This is generally saved until the next change of the image or the deletion of the image respectively. It can take a few days until our background processes finally delete the images from the server.
For each image a set of meta information is also stored, this is in detail a hash code that uniquely identifies the image and the status whether the image was approved, rejected or blocked by the administrator. This meta-information is stored on a user-by-user basis until the account is deleted and then anonymously.

These are generally stored until you delete them in your profile or together with your account. It can take a few days until our background processes finally delete the videos from the server.
For each video, a set of meta information is also stored, this is in detail a hash code that uniquely identifies the video and the status of whether the video was approved, rejected or blocked by the administrator. This meta-information is stored on a user-by-user basis until the account is deleted, and then anonymously.
You can
If you have agreed to the corresponding release in the app, we store the last known location of you in order to be able to determine the distance to other users. This location is not directly transferred to other users, but always only in the form of the location already determined. No location is determined and transferred if you have closed the app.
Chat messages, friend requests and messages about confirmed friend requests are provided to the recipient for 7 days on our servers, but are stored on the recipient's phone until the user deletes them. On our servers, messages are deleted by a background process after reaching the 7 days mark, this may take a few days.
Notifications of new messages, friend requests, or nearby friends are sent via Google or Apple services, depending on the device.
According to Article 15 GDPR, you have the right to have all of your stored data sent to you within one month. The best way to do this is to email contact2@friendslist.eu with your request.
You can delete your account at any time in accordance with Article 17 GDPR in the app settings, or by email contact2@friendslist.eu.
You can request the correction of collected personal data at any time in accordance with Article 16 GDPR. To do so, it is best to email contact2@friendslist.eu.
You can object to the use of your data at any time in accordance with Article 21 GDPR. The best way to do this is to email contact2@friendslist.eu.
You have the right to request that we restrict the processing of your personal data in accordance with Article 18 GDPR. The best way to do this is to email contact2@friendslist.eu.
You have the right to receive from us the data you have provided in a structured, common and machine-readable format, as well as the right to have this data transferred to another controller in accordance with Article 20 GDPR. The best way to do this is to email contact2@friendslist.eu.
